You may have seen features about The Houdini Museum on specials such as Exploring the Unknown, Myths And Legends, and even on The Travel Channel Roadtrip series.
The one-of-a-kind presentation involves the audience throughout the entire evening. Visitors learn of hauntings connected to a murder / suicide about 100 years ago.
The case involved many of the town’s citizens or visitors including area spiritualist, George Valentine, "the man who challenged Houdini!"
The New York Times reported on the sensational aspects of the events audiences will revisit. Fortunately, photographs and artifacts surrounding the tragic real-life drama have been preserved and are on display for audience members.
And then it all gets a little darker, and much more spooky.
The play ends with a seance calling upon the spirits of those depicted in the play.
Audiences are invited to participate in as well as experience the unbelievable seance session.
Ms. Dietrich and Mr. Brooks warn the performance and certainly the seance is not appropriate for "the very young, weak of heart, those that are afraid of the dark, or easily frightened."
As far as we are aware, this presentation is the only offering a $10,000.00 Ghost Guarantee.
The curtain goes up at 7:00 p.m. promptly and reservations are required. You must order your tickets in advance as space is limited for this intimate experience.
The New York Times calls it all "High Quality Entertainment!"
